Day 75: speaking of rip-offs

One doesn’t need to be a fiery socialist to recognize that Britain was sold a massive and soul-crushingly empty tin entirely void of all crayons yesterday. What a ghastly surprise.

I can offer no comfort. But I wanted to tell you that I am sending hugs to all of you living in the U.K. (how much longer will I be able to write that?) and whose hearts are there, and sharing your grief and dismay today.

Much love & c.,

D-R.

P.S. For now am just sending hugs; but, fyi, can also probably procure and send child-sized chimney-sweeping outfits on short notice should you find your children needing such items. I mean, not that child labor will necessarily be reinstated in Britain under the new regime. Not immediately, anyway.
